Krew Roy McGarry

So i guess that i should tell you my pregnancy and delivery story since everyone does... Well i actually had a good pregnancy, of course i had morning and evening sickness, but nights were much worse. When i worked at Hair We Are and had to close of course right when I would get an appointment I would have to run off and throw up in the bathroom there were times when I almost didn't make it. So embarrassing! Half way through my pregnancy I got a new job at Tami's Salon (by far the best job ever!) I was working part time and was able to come and go whenever I wanted to, I didn't have close calls on puking on people, which was really nice! As the further on I was getting, the more miserable I was. I sure in heck did not have the, "Pregnancy glow." I was huge, hot, and swollen not my cup of tea.

One day I did have a scare that I was going to have a miscarriage. This happened when I was 23 weeks. I Started to bleed which of course is not a good sign, so right off the bat I panicked. I call Brandon and my mom, we rushed over to the Women's Clinic and they got me in right away, they checked me to see if I was dialating at all, and I wasn't. Then they did an ultra sound and the baby was breathing and moving regularly. Everything was fine, and still to this day we dont know why I was bleeding.

The very end of my pregnancy I was extremely sick, it was one thing after another, the mold in our apartment was getting worse after all of the snow was melting and running into our walls it was out of control so we had to get out as soon as possible! I had four weeks left and we didnt want the baby to be in with the mold and be sick all of the time. Brandons parents let us move into their place until our new apartment in Rexburg was available, it was very generous of them to do that for us.

I was finally at the end of the end. I was 38 weeks and had this massive headache and poor vision that would not go away! I had heard about preeclampsia and that was one of the symptoms so I called the doctor just to be sure everything was alright. They told me to come in right away. When i got there, I had to be on a monitor to see the baby heart rate fluctuating and it wasn't (not good) so I had to get an ultra sound and he wasn't moving or showing breathing movements for 30 minutes, so I had to be on the monitor again and the same thing was happening. So after all of the test they tell me everything seems "ok" and sent me home....Awesome.... Two hours later..... I get a phone call from the doctors and told me that everything wasn't ok and that I needed to come back in right away. Once I got there I was put on the monitor and still poor heart rate, then they decided to check the baby one more time from the ultrasound, still no movement or breathing. The doctor told me "well were having this baby tonight I dont like the signs that we are seeing, go straight to the hospital." I was shocked and had my mixed emotions. Brandon and I rushed over there and right away they induced me. Brandon gave me a blessing and all of a sudden the baby heart rate was perfect and everything was normal!

Labor seriously wasn't that bad once I got an epidural! The first time they tried to do it they drained my spinal fluid. Awesome. So we had to do it twice. After all of that commotion it was heaven! I was in labor for 12 hours and slept through it all! At 3:45 AM Krew Roy McGarry came into this world! Weighting at 8 lbs 5oz and 19 1/2 in. He was so big that he didn't have anywhere to move inside me and I didn't have a C-Section either. It was such a miracle that he was healthy from the scare, and I cant believe the love that I had for him just meeting him for a minute. He is such a blessing and joy into our lives!

The after labor and delivery was the worst! I was extremely sick from the epidural and couldn't stand straight for about two weeks. Brandon and I ended up living at my parents house til we could move into our new place. Krew was a week old and we finally had our own place. Never again will i move with a brand new baby! I am so thankful for all of the help and support from everyone getting into our new place
